The NHSC CDL Program provides training and certification for individual& students who want to become professional truck drivers or operate commercial vehicles. This program is 8 weeks and offer the following: Classroom Instruction: CDL programs often include classroom instruction covering topics such as federal and state regulations, safety procedures, and logbook management. Hands-on Training: Practical training is a significant part of a CDL program. Students learn how to operate commercial vehicles safely, including pre-trip inspections, vehicle control, and maneuvering. Road Skills Training: This part of the program involves on-road driving practice, where students gain experience in real-world conditions. Range Skills Training: Students practice vehicle control in a closed, controlled environment, learning skills like backing up and parallel parking.
